Who can apply for UZHISS?

Bachelor and Master students who are currently enrolled at a university are welcome to apply. You must meet our English language requirements (B2 or higher) as well as some subject specific requirements depending on the program. For more information, please see “Entry Requirements” under “Facts and Figures”. For our on-campus programs, please note that students need to be at least 18 years of age at the time of attending the summer school.

Follow our six easy steps outlined in our application process. What is included in the summer school fee?

Credits will be awarded on successful completion of the Academic Program following assessment. An official transcript will be sent out to students at the end of the course.

How can I transfer my credits?

Please check with your home institution regarding credit transfer. The UZH International Summer Schools cannot guarantee that students will be able to accredit the summer school module at their home university.

Am I eligible for a partner discount?*

Generous discounts are available for full-time students that are enrolled at certain partner universities. If you submit your application via our application platform and are currently enrolled at one of our partner universities, you will be automatically notified about any available discounts. Please rest assured that – if eligible – you will always be offered the highest available discount at the moment of your acceptance to the program.

How can I apply for a scholarship?*

“Deep Dive into Blockchain” offers a unique scholarship opportunity: These scholarships are generously offered by industry partners involved in the program and students who get such a scholarship will receive a generous discount towards the tuition fee. However, the selection process is highly competitive, and it will take a while for applicants to receive a final decision.

Your application dossier will serve as a basis for the selection committee’s decision, and we kindly ask you to state in your motivation letter that you would like to apply for one of these scholarships. You will not be considered for a scholarship if you do not express your wish to apply for one in your motivation letter.

These scholarships are offered for both on-campus and online participation.

*Please note that industry scholarships and partner discounts are mutually exclusive. Students who are receive a partner discount will not receive an industry scholarship (and vice-versa).
