Industry Scholarships (Deep Dive into Blockchain)

Please note that if you apply for an industry scholarship as part of your application to "Deep Dive into Blockchain", the processing time to review your dossier will take significantly longer than the originally communicated 7 days. We thank you for your patience while our team reviews your dossier.

Scholarship decisions are usually communicated starting in early March.

We offer generous discounts to students from UZH partner universities, including strategic partners and international networks (Una Europa, Universitas 21 and LERU). Those discounts are applied directly to the program fee in your offer letter.*

For applicants to "Deep Dive into Blockchain" we also offer different levels of industry scholarships based on merit and financial needs. Thanks to the financial support from our industry sponsors, we’re excited to offer this opportunity to passionate students eager to dive into blockchain innovation.

To apply for a scholarship, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Submit the registration form linked on the page "Apply Now".
  2. Once you have registered, you will receive a login and will be asked to provide additional information. This is also when you will be asked to indicate your interest in applying for a scholarship.
  3. If you choose to apply for a scholarship, you will be asked to provide the following, additional documents (on top of the regular application documents):
 
  • A brief motivation letter outlining your motivation for joining the program and how it aligns with your academic or career aspirations
  
 
  • Additional documents showing any relevant projects or achievements that demonstrate strong academic performance (e,g., project report, publications)
  
 
  • For financial-need-based applications, a description of the needs along with (possibly) supporting documents
  

(Students from economically disadvantaged countries may have priority in applying, to encourage diversity and inclusion.)

Please note that only applications received via the application platform ("MobilityOnline") will be considered. We do not accept any applications sent via email. Once we have reviewed your application, we will notify you about any potential level of discounts or scholarships available to you.

Please note that partner discounts and industry scholarships are mutually exclusive. If you are offered a scholarship, you will not be considered for a partner discount – and vice versa.

A note to students from partner universities:
We strongly encourage students from our selected partner universities to submit regular applications and wait for a decision on the partner discount. Our partner discounts, though limited, are awarded on a rolling basis to eligible applicants immediately once their application has been processed. If you do not financially rely on a full-fee waiver scholarship, we strongly recommend that you apply as early as possible to secure a partner discount.
